ADVERTISING POLICY

Commercial content
should look commercial.

This policy explains how Credofly approaches advertising, sponsorships and other paid commercial content.

Last updated: September 2026

01

What counts as commercial content?

Commercial content may include advertising, sponsorships, paid placements, branded collaborations or other arrangements where Credofly receives compensation in exchange for exposure or participation. Affiliate links are addressed separately in our Affiliate Disclosure.

02

Labelling.

Where content or placement is paid for, sponsored or otherwise materially commercial, we aim to identify that relationship in a way users can reasonably understand.

03

What advertisers can influence.

A commercial partner may be able to agree factual campaign information, creative requirements, placement details and other terms relating to the commercial material itself. A paid relationship should not give an advertiser control over unrelated Credofly editorial assessments or factual coverage.

04

What payment does not mean.

  • Every Credofly statement about the advertiser is sponsored
  • The advertiser automatically receives a favourable Credofly assessment
  • Competing products will be excluded from normal coverage
  • A paid placement is the same thing as an editorial recommendation

05

Accuracy in advertising.

Commercial material should not knowingly misrepresent the product being promoted. Credofly may decline, remove or request changes to commercial material that appears misleading, inappropriate or inconsistent with the experience we want to provide users.

06
