EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Clear about the card.
Clear about how we got there.
Credofly’s editorial approach is built around useful information, traceable sources and making important conditions visible alongside benefits.

01 — THE READER
Start with what helps someone decide.
A credit-card page should help a person understand what a card offers, what it costs, what conditions apply and where the trade-offs are. We aim to explain those details in plain language without turning every card into a recommendation.
02 — SOURCES
Prefer primary information.
Where available, we prefer issuer product pages, official terms and conditions, Most Important Terms and Conditions, fee schedules, rewards programme documentation, payment-network documentation and other relevant official programme material.
Secondary sources and community reports can be useful for discovery and context, but material factual claims should be checked where practical.
03 — BENEFITS & CONDITIONS
A benefit without its condition is incomplete.
We try to show the qualification, restriction, spend requirement, cap or other material condition close to the benefit it affects. The aim is to make the decision easier to evaluate, not merely the benefit easier to advertise.
04 — UNCERTAINTY
Do not turn uncertainty into a fact.
Issuer information is not always complete, consistent or immediately updated. When we cannot verify something confidently, we would rather leave it unconfirmed, explain the limitation where useful or mark it for review than fill the gap with an assumption.
05 — UPDATES
Credit cards change.
Fees, rewards, eligibility, partnerships, lounge rules and other card terms can change after publication. Credofly reviews and updates information as changes are identified and verified. Always confirm important terms with the issuer before applying or making a financial decision.
06 — EDITORIAL & COMMERCIAL
Keep the relationship visible.
Credofly may have affiliate, advertising, sponsorship or other commercial relationships. Those relationships should be disclosed where relevant. A commercial relationship should not be presented as independent editorial judgment.
07 — REVIEWS & COMMUNITY INPUT
Experience is useful. It is not universal proof.
User reviews, cardholder experiences and community reports can add important practical context. They can also vary by customer, location, issuer decision, date or circumstance. We distinguish user experience from official product rules where that distinction matters.
08 — CORRECTIONS
Good information should be correctable.
If you find a factual error, outdated term or missing condition, tell us. Where possible, include the card name, the information that appears incorrect and an official or supporting source.
